Ballet Barre

Exercises performed with the barre are used as the foundation for all other ballet exercises, steps and routines.

The barre provides balance and stability as you work through a variety of different exercises. Each exercise has a specific purpose, such as to strengthen feet and legs, increase extension, improve flexibility and develop proper ballet technique. 
You will perform a range of ballet sequences, allowing you to discover the sensation of being graceful and elegant, whilst getting the benefit of working and toning your whole body. Every step in this class can be adapted to suit your level of dance experience, whether you are a complete beginner or a more advanced dancer.


Fitness level: All abilities

Duration: 45 minutes

Cancellation, late & no-show policy:

  • Should you arrive after the class start time, we may reallocate the space
  • We politely request a minimum of 2hrs notice to cancel a class
  • A charge of £10.00 per class will be payable for non-attendance
