Protein filled snacks perfect for those with a sweet tooth!

Ingredients (18 sweets):

For fruity layer:

  • 400ml water
  • 2 scoops of clear whey isolate protein (Vimto used above but any flavour works)
  • 2 sachets of gelatine

For creamy layer:

  • 150g low fat natural yoghurt
  • 50ml semi skimmed milk
  • ½ sachet of gelatine

Prep time: 5 minutes

Completion time: 8 hours

Method:

  1. Add 400ml water and 2 scoops of clear whey protein and add to a shaker, shake until there are no lumps. Pour liquid into a saucepan and add gelatine, allow the gelatine to bloom for a minute or 2.
  2. Stir mixture until combined before heating over a low temperature. The mixture will go smooth, avoid boiling the mixture. Once warm, add to an oven dish/tray and pop in the fridge for 4 hours.
  3. After those 4 hours, add your yoghurt and milk to a saucepan alongside the half a sachet of gelatine. Let the gelatine bloom for 1-3 minutes as done above before mixing in and heating over a low temperature, the exact same as you did the first layer.
  4. Take the oven dish out of the fridge and pour the creamy layer over the top of the fruity layer, then place back in the fridge for a further 4 hours.
  5. Cut into 18 cubes and enjoy!
